Activity 2: Camera Movement
In this assignment, me and my teammate were instructed to create a storyboard of 9 different types of camera movements. In the following, you will see the 9 we selected. The assignment was fairly simple and we had a good understanding of what we were supposed to do. We were to apply key concepts of camera movement, shot sizes, angles, framing, and elements of Mise en Scene. This assignment was meant to assist us in planning for our videos that we will be filming. We included action lines to describe the different camera movements we sketched. Me and my teammate didn't necessarily have to reference anything since we had a good understanding of the camera movements and ideas we had. In this assignment, my teammate was responsible for the sketching (per usual) while I was responsible for deciding what the action line, shot size, angle and framing was. Together, however, we collaborated excellently to decide on the concepts and stories we wanted to tell within the 9 different camera movements.
