Introduction to Color in Film
The objective of this lesson is to introduce what color in film is and how it's significant to film. Color in film is . The reason color is significant to a film's audience is because it's what sets a films overall tone. Moreover, it can also help to to identify characters traits and to showcase the evolution of them. There ae 3 characters of film when it comes to film: hue, saturation, and brightness. The hue is the color itself. Saturation is what shade the color is. Lastly, brightness is how bright or dull the color is. For short, this is also known as "HSB." Surely enough, the one responsible for color in film is the director.
The goal of this exercise was to teach us about the significance of color in film. As for the media we will be creating, it will possibly be a movie. In my team, there's only me and one other person. During this task, I learned a lot. Mainly how important color in film is. I had never thought about its significance to film before this assignment.
