Intro to Hair & Makeup

 Hair & Makeup in film is very similar to Costume. The only difference I'd say there is, is that they have different definitions. Hair & Makeup in film is exactly what it sounds like. Its the type of hair and stage makeup worn by actors. Its importance is considered the same as costume though. Its significant to allow us as the audience to get an idea of what kind of characters the actors are. Again, in our assignment, the characters had very bland costume and hair & makeup designs. There wasn't much to analyze.
